Veterans: We would be honored for you and your family to join us for free activities on Veterans Day, 1-5pm

Our first apple trees were planted in 2016. We only planted 8 as we wanted to see if they would survive the deer. We were happy to report they survived the deer, but one was almost taken out by Japanese Beetles.

In the late fall of 2016 we planted more. Currently there are 29 Apple Trees, 18 Peach Trees, 3 Apricot and 6 Asian Pear trees planted to kick off the orchard. As we did in 2016, we will see what does well and expand accordingly.

In addition to these fruit trees are planted Red Currants, Blueberries, Elderberries, Gooseberries, Tayberris, Raspberries and Black Raspberries.

White Strawberries (Pineberries) will be put in spring 2017.

Our plan again is to see what works and what doesn't and expand accordingly in the fall of 2017.
